Punto in Ellwangen

A very cozy restaurant. Very good food and nice staff. Both lunch and dinner are highly recommended.

Very nice place. Italian kitchen. Good selection and reasonable prices. The food tastes good.

Not a single corona measure, despite increasing numbers! No registration form, no disinfection, service with a face mask under the chin is right above your table. Very uncomfortable. I only stayed because a friend invited me. Vegetable lasagna was a tasteless batter and cheese mush. Carrot slices dried up in - boring - salad. French fries kind of old-fashioned. Not worth two stars.

I also don't get a cake although it is written in capital letters ... and if so, only after 2 pm ... although only 5 tables are occupied ... unfriendly service ... not recommended

Opening times according to Google: Saturdays = 1 a.m. According to website: 3 a.m. 23 o'clock. You will be asked if you can sit outside. Then: No, there is not enough going on, we close. Very good. The shop is almost half full, but nobody wants to work or stick to the opening hours.

Great shop the ice cream is very tasty only the waffle is a bit strange.

Great food, amazing drinks, looks great. Service also very friendly, only the service in the dark in the evening does not see if it is empty. But you can talk.

Food okay, service friendly and competent. What is not understandable is that some of the waitresses do not wear a mask and, despite the narrow tables, no addresses of the customers were recorded. So I wouldn't go there for now, it's too risky for me.

Operation more than unfriendly throws the card down without looking at it. The same with the Covid-19 registration. Prices are ok. Very chic ambience. Banana wheat could be significantly better.

We were there on June 13th, 2020 and it was a very special experience: I had a panini whose salad garnish started to rot. However, the sheet was draped on the plate in such a way that the black (!) Sheet margin could not be seen immediately. I assume that this is intentional. The cook probably works without any spices, it just tasted bland. The dough base was greasy, so it wasn't baked through: a cheek. The knife was so blunt that it was useless. In short: The corona distance rule has its purpose: especially when you stand in front of the Café Punto in Ellwangen.

You don't treat yourself to anything else.

The drinks were good, the service less competent. She never came to our table later because the requests from the menu were too complex. Didn't want to make money from us.

Personally, I like the Punto and I always go back here to eat. The pizza is the best in my opinion! The pasta dishes are good to okay; whichever, but of course that is always a matter of taste. The staff is stressed more often, but often there is a lot going on, so understandable. The cocktails are in my opinion not so good now. Otherwise clean restaurant and still worth a visit.

Generally an alright place to eat. Nothing to blow your mind, but fair pricing. Staff seemed overwhelmed, wait time was rather long. Have to deduct another star for significantly burning my pizza and not offering any compensation.

Very good food and a cozy atmosphere. You can theoretically spend the whole day there as there are breakfasts as well as cocktails. The selection is neat but clear. Freshly prepared and delicious. Service is nice but not intrusive. So should be a resteraunt visit.

The place is really pretty, the drinks were all delicious, but we were so rarely served, that we could order drinks only twice within 2.5 hours. With me there would have been at least another drink in it, but the staff would rather smoke together instead of serving ... Also on the courtesy you could have worked a bit, but was still acceptable.

Went for dinner on a Sunday and Monday night as not much else is walkable and open those nights nearby. Definitely an important attribute in this small quiet town. Both times service was pleasant, if busy. Food was good but not outstanding. Schnitzel was done well, salad was drowned (much more than the usual high amount of dressing appreciated by Germans), soup was nice with fresh vegetables, pasta was just OK. Modern decor and a great location to sit outside in the better weather. Seems like it would be a nice place to bring someone for a quiet date.

Order specified; salad as a side dish was served and immediately after the starter. After the first bite, the main course was immediately put down. Maid of the ministry indicated that we found it very quickly; she could only admit that it was indeed so. Bad thing .. this did not have the wish to order dessert or coffee afterwards! Is this business smart?
